May 19, 2009 Board Meeting Agenda Item #9 Title APPROVAL OF THE STUDENT AND FAMILY HANDBOOK FOR 2009-2010 Description In order to consolidate District information in a user friendly manner, the Code of Student Conduct and the Parent Guide are consolidated into one Student and Family Handbook.  The handbook contains information related to District and School policies, procedures, rights and responsibilities.  The format of the 2009-2010 Student and Family Handbook uses two columns for easier reading.  Sections and subsections are identified using a letter-and-number system to make information easier to locate.
